Baron Bigod.
Baron Bigod is a whisper of English countryside in every bite—soft and yielding, with a delicate bloomy rind that gives way to a creamy center that tastes of fresh mushrooms, sweet hay, and gentle butter. The aroma is earthy and understated, more elegant than bold, with the raw milk creating subtle complexity that unfolds rather than announces itself.

The story
How it's made.
Why it tastes that way.
Baron Bigod is England's only raw-milk Brie-style cheese made on the farm.
Created by Jonny Crickmore at Fen Farm Dairy in Suffolk in 2013, it uses milk from Montbéliarde cows—the same breed used for French Comté and Brie de Meaux. Named after Hugh Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, who owned land in Suffolk.
